"Meh" for me. It is ok, but I probably won't purchase - not a huge fan of chai but ok to have one cup on occasion.Bridgette wrote: Hello communiTEA drinkers,

I really wanted to love this tea! But, I don’t!!! I don’t hate it, but ... first, why 150* for a black tea? I ended up reheating the tea, putting my infuser back in the cup, added 212* water, and steeped an additional 2 minutes. It didn’t help much. I LOVE chai tea, I love strong, spicy tea. This cup was neither. I’ve had Masala Chai before. This sampling just didn’t make the grade.

This one was a little disappointing, especially since the name was cute. It was almost cold by the time I brewed it, even though my kettle doesn't even go as low as 150°. Even brewed at 160° it was rather weak and thin tasting for a chai, if that makes sense. If I had more of this blend I might try double boiling it like a proper chai, but I don't think I'll risk ordering any. I might add oat milk to this to make a cute morning latte.

This is almost a delicate chai- which I can't say I've encountered before! I like the hit of peppercorns in the back of the flavor. Not your typical bold chai, maybe a good one for beginners.
It is their preference, but this tea could definitely take more heat!

Re: January 28th communiTEA Discussion
This one wasn’t too exciting. I was excited about the cinnamon and coconut, but it was a little on the bland side.
Re: January 28th communiTEA Discussion
We were not sure what to expect with the strong spice smell, but were pleasantly surprised by the taste. Definitely like this one.
Re: January 28th communiTEA Discussion
2 mins at 150? What the heck. I didn’t notice this at first and went with 212 for 5 mins. However...I don’t regret hotter and longer and would do it again if sent some more. Pretty good!
