I'm sure there are enough of these posts, but I have been offered a xishi with the following chop on the base. The seller has claimed it is F1 white sticker but my F1 pots all have the same stamp, which is different to this.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Yixing chop identification
more images will yield more replies... also useful to have your other chop's images.
But, white label should be cheap per se, so I would not bother too much. Well under 200$ is probably the most for a Western offer.

Re: Yixing chop identification
I appreciate the replies, but somebody else got to the pot before me.
I ended up getting an earlier pot from Emmett

This is the name stamp of the maker, no time to find the words not familiar,
read the stamp as sequence as
CA
DB
(modern method)
So in the case the words are "XY萍制"
X is surname, 'Y萍' is her name, yes the maker is a lady
制 is 'produced by' or 'crafted by'
some ancient sequence will be
AC
BD
but don't get it wrong, makers choose their own sequence,
old sequence does't mean old time teapot.
