Feb 11th Discussion

Hello communiTEA drinkers,

Today we have Chili Lime Green!

The first sip fills your senses with the delights of chili, closely followed by the zest of lime and finally rounded off by the creamy sweetness of the coconut.

How are you liking the heat this little cup brings?

This is honestly one of my favorite discoveries since I started working at Adagio!

The heat hits hard and fast, and at first- was offputting. I had never had such a spicy, savory tea before! However, once finishing the cup I could not get enough!

I love introducing friend and family to this truly unique tea!

I drink it on its own at my desk at times, but love it with a spicy meal.

Wow! Now there is a tea for a cold, wintry day. I had warm, cooked apples on the nose. Then heavy chili pepper on the palate. The tea grew on me but it would be a special occasion tea...

Cold wintry day, with food that it would compliment, maybe fish. Also, it would be a good stimulant for the digestion or a pick me up.

I tasted this one without coming to the site first or really reading the ingredients and WOAH. I immediately made my entire family taste it and it nearly killed them, lol. It certainly was an experience.

Even the smell is disarming, it's like, "oh okay green coconut scent, I bet it tastes- WHAT THE, OH MY GOD." Not a tea to surprise yourself with unless you like pranks.

This tea was by far my favourite out of the week (Feb. 9-15). I was really surprised because I had never had lemongrass and didn't quite know what to expect. On top of that, lime? I do like myself a nice key lime pie, but as a tea flavour? I wasn't sure. And then I took one sip and I immediately added it to my wishlist. First of all, I love spicy teas and I've been on a quest for the perfect spicy tea -- and I think this one is the closest any one of them has gotten. The chili with the lime and the coconut (cue song), fueled by the lemongrass brings freshness to the heat, and sweetness to the tartness. This was such a good surprise and I'm so glad this tea was in my week. I'm definitely going to be putting it in my rotation!
