Feb 23rd Discussion

by Bridgette » Feb 23rd, '20, 00:00

Hello communiTEA drinkers,

Today we have Honeybush Banana Nut!

One sip of our Honeybush Banana Nut tea and you'll feel as though you're standing in the middle of your local bakery, about to take a bite out of a freshly baked muffin!

Do you agree?

This tea is perfect with a touch of coconut or almond milk.

I neither love nor hate it. I'm actually surprised that I don't hate it, since I don't tend to like rooibos teas. I don't think it tastes like a muffin at all. This is a pleasant enough cup, but I don't think I'd buy it.

This tea smells like honey when dry, apple cinnamon oatmeal when brewed, and tastes very mild. I don't have any paticular feelings as to if it's good or not, so while I don't hate it I can't say I enjoyed the tea. :|

I liked this much better than I thought I would (not generally a fan of banana). Flavor was mild, I think the chestnut and cinnamon were actually strongest (not strong overall, but strongest flavor in the tea) with the banana a soft background. Good on Adagio for making a decent banana, but I like my teas stronger.

I am not a fan of Banana Nut bread and was dubious of this tea. But mmmmmm

It's flavorful and the banana was mild enough to add a sweetness to it that it satisfied my sweet tooth! The cinnamon wasn't too overwhelming and both complemented the honeybush tea flavor. The chestnut was just icing on the cake for me, I love that tea, to begin with. It definitely married the flavors together.

This is a great bedtime tea, or after dinner tea. Warm and sweet and perfect to relax with. I've already ordered more.

I actually had ordered this already in my recent order without realizing it was in the CommuniTEA package for this week. Im more a fan of black tea, but this was good, and my wife immediately said it smelled like a banana nut muffin. It was a winner

What a wonderful nose. Early on I smelled nuts and bananas. Later the cinnamon shined through too.

Drink with chocolate pancakes!
