Feb 28th Discussion

Hello communiTEA drinkers,

Today we have Jasmine Yin Hao!

Very layered and lingering floral aroma. Soft, full-bodied and sweet flavor with a slight dryness in the finish. Our Jasmine Yin Hao grade is among the highest for green jasmine teas.

What do you think?

For me the Jasmine is overwhelming in this tea. I much prefer the subtleness of Jasmine Phoenix Pearl we drank earlier in the week.

Going to have to give this one a solid no, tea smells pleasant while dry, tastes like perfume and very drying. :(

This was a bit too perfumey for me; but it may be the first green tea I've had where the liquor had a greenish tint, which was fun. Used my son's color-changing Batman mug and themed my photo around that (because I only have a few regulation-sized tea cups), and I had quite forgotten that the colors came up mostly green on that, too! Overall, not a tea I'd buy.
