Hello communiTEA drinkers,
Today we have Anhui Emerald Seed!
The deep green, long, curled leaves smell sweet and fresh. Once steeped, they yield a light yellow colored cup with delicate vegetal notes and a roasted seed-like quality reminiscent of toasted pumpkin seeds.
What notes do you pick up on?

Beautiful Green Tea!
This Tea has a nice nutty vegetal note, it is somewhat more on the sweet side but with a dry finish.
Very nice Sunday Tea!

Re: March 1st Discussion
confession: green tea is not my jam. So i really wish there was a "meh" option, that would be more accurate than love it/hate it! I like it more than some other green teas i've tried but they all taste like lawn clippings to me.
Re: March 1st Discussion
I definitely picked up on a nutty flavor. Reminds me of eating roasted chestnuts, something I always loved. But overall green teas just can’t brew enough flavor in a cup for my taste.
Re: March 1st Discussion
My first impression was "what a lovely nose." I got some roasted vegetables on the nose. I'm not much of a green tea drinker but I know I should be. Maybe as an afternoon tea? Anyway, I would have liked a little stronger taste. Maybe less water. I brewed at 180 degrees for 3 minutes. This tea would be an accompaniment to a dinner of roasted vegetables with nuts.
