March 3rd Discussion

by Bridgette » Mar 3rd, '20, 00:00

Hello communiTEA drinkers,

Today we have Assam Harmony!

A deep, burgundy-red cup and roasted grain aroma, malty-rich flavor with notes of raisins. Pungent but smooth astringency, making this tea an ideal cup to pair with milk and sugar.

Let's discuss!

A very dark taste. Not bitter, but heavy-duty black tea. A little in a blend Could give some nice bass notes to a lighter tea.

Yesterday, I took my Assam Melody and mixed with Ceylon Sonata and Keemun to form mine at home Breakfast tea. The Assam Melody is a thinner in body cup than the Assam Harmony.

I like Assam Harmony better. It has more body and thicker malty tones. I don't drink it every day but sometimes I wake up and this is what I want.
