March 5th Discussion

by Bridgette » Mar 5th, '20, 00:00

Hello communiTEA drinkers,

Today we have Honeybush Orange!

A juicy cup of herbal sunshine, sweet and refreshing like freshly squeezed OJ. The orange flavor balances the honey sweetness.

What do you think- are you ditching your morning orange juice?

Like drinking a cup of orange juice minus the calories. A perfect addition to any morning routine.

I was expecting orange and I got what? I didn't detect much if any orange. I didn't like this tea at all. The mouthfeel was slick and it had a slight taste of soured tea. I took a few sips and poured it out. It just tasted off. I will not be buying it.

it smells beautifully and aggressively orange, but once brewed it mellows into a very mild orange taste. It's a nice little pick me up, i'm a fan!

This is why I love the CommuniTEA experience.
I would have never bought this Honeybush Orange Tea, but I have to say I am pleasantly surprised. It is very light, florally, sweet citrusy. I get more the Orange Peel taste than the fruit itself.
Very nice refreshing tea, I'm sure this would be nice cold as well! :-)

This is the second honeybush tea I've gotten in the CommuniTEA samples. Both have been flavored, so it's hard to be certain, but I think I like honeybush. At the very least, I like it a lot more than rooibos. It seems to be pretty subtle, with a flavor that is similar to underbrewed black tea. I look forward to trying a few more samples in order to figure out exactly how I feel about it.

This tea has a very strong orange bouquet, but the orange flavor in the plain tea is very mild. Also, it has a very dry mouthfeel.

However, adding a bit of sugar brought the orange flavor to the foreground, and eliminated the dry mouthfeel.

I definitely recommend this tea, but I also recommend you add a little sugar.
