March 30th Discussion

by Bridgette » Mar 30th, '20, 00:00

Hello communiTEA drinkers,

Today we have Passionfruit Tango!

The flavors of passionfruit and mango sparkle on the tongue, developing even more flavor as it cools.

How's your cup? Are you sporting it hot or cold?

I feel bad leaving negative comments, especially since it's just my opinion. I don't care for passionfruit or mango, and as lovely as I'm sure this tea is, it's not the cup for me.

Looks and tastes like a flavored black tea as a base, no lemongrass, hibiscus herbal pieces seen. Not an herbal tea! Strong black tea aftertaste. May be Peach Ceylon tea?

Hmm! I wasn't able to grab this week's communiTEA to sneak a peak. Anyone else have something different in their cup?

I also noted Apple and marigold leaves in the tea ... another reason for why I think it might be Adagio’s Peach tea which includes marigold, apple, and Ceylon tea.

Yea, it looks like I got peach as well? I came looking to see if anyone elses tea had gotten mixed up. It's still delicious, though!

:) I’m wondering the same as it had more of a black tea base than a typical herbal tea.

Hmm, well the ingredients in Passionfruit Tango are: Hibiscus, Cinnamon, Apple Pieces, Rose Hips, Lemon Grass, Raspberry Leaves, Natural Passionfruit Flavor, Rose Petals, Apricots & Mango Pieces

So I'm not surprised to hear about the apple pieces. But, I will try to get to the bottom of this quandary...

Well folks, sorry to say we don't have a definitive answer. I did let the production team know of your suspicions, but they're fairly certain it was the correct tea inside.

I managed to snag April's box, so I'll be able to keep up better this time!
