Huge yixing teapot

by Brockodile » Jul 12th, '20, 00:26

Is this teapot anything special, or just a knockoff? It’s a big one.

Depends how you define a knockoff. The teapot itself looks quite unique and artistic. The high handle suggest it's a ti liang type of Yixing teapot. Judging from the clay surface, it's not likely made from good quality clay. The finishing isn't very refined, to be a really good teapot, but anyways, it's a nice to have.

From the last photo it looks like a bad cheap tourist pot.
