White Mold - Malaysia stores 2013 Sheng

I hope you could help a fellow Sheng lover with some informations, I did research in the forum but couldn’t find a definite answer to the problem
A vendor send me a 100g 2013 Sheng stores in Malaysia
Unfortunately it’s covered in white mold
I had already my first session and lived the tea but don’t want to risk big health issues
Maybe some of you will have some ideas what to do next because I’m hesitating to throw a good cake in the garbage

I've seen a lot of false alarms on this forum, but this really does look like mold.

I can't say for sure, but I think you can pry off the good parts, and throw the rest that's close to or covered in mold away. The store, the good parts in a jar, and check after 2 weeks if those grow mold. If it doesn't, then its probably safe to brew.

I did get some good answers about the mold topic through FB Gong Fu Cha group too and decided that I wont take the health risk and dump the whole cake...
I was fortunate enough that I didn't had to spend money on this tea because it was a gift (not very generous indeed but still...)
