I have a tetsubin that I boil in on a gas stove. I know everyone warns of the flame eventually causing rust spots on the bottom of them.
I also have some different sized copper diffusers that I use beneath the CI pots and pans that I have. Could using them with my tet solve the problem of flame exposure. I know it would take longer for the water to boil, but that’s the price you would have to spend.
