21 Year Old Tea??

by Genteel » Mar 24th, '21, 01:02

Hi everyone.
I just inherited what appears to be Ti Kwan Yin “King of Oolong Tea”.
It is vacuum sealed and unopened. I am not familiar with teas, if they age or expire. So my question is it worth opening or is it trash?

I would certainly open it! If only to find out how tea tastes after 21 years in a vacuum sealed bag. It's probably ell over the hill, but who knows? Find out, and report back here!

Of course try it! BUT don't expect nirvana from a cheap oolong. Cheap back then cheap 21 years later.

If it was a good one expect something unusual.

Please report in any case.
