Hi everyone - I'm Lothar, from Maine US. I have been a longtime tea drinker but not a "connoisseur" per se. I became interested in loose leaf premium teas, particularly from China, when my college professor introduced me to Silk Road Teas, but I found an earlier love for Chinese tea culture when I studied the language in high school. SRT is the only, I would say, fancy tea brand I've purchased from but I would love to hear some recommendations from others for brands I can branch out to! Also, what are others' experiences with SRT and thoughts of their products? P.S. my go-to varieties are pu'er and white teas. Right now I'm drinking an aged (2001) white peony from Silk Road Teas.
