Aka-Raku Bowl

by mycoleptodiscus » May 4th, '21, 22:43

I happened upon this chawan. It has the Raku family stamp. Seems authentic. It has light marks from the kiln tongs so probably genuine raku technique. Lightweight. Heavy crazing of glaze. 5 "waves" on the lip. Lovely earthy clay smell. Thoughts? Pics linked.
