I recommend everyone to try Dancong tea, a rare variety of oolong tea.

Owes its flavors to oxidation levels between green & black tea.

I don't think you can call it 'rare', but I agree with your recommendation :D

I’m with you on Dancong, it’s super aromatic and unique. And honestly, oolong in general doesn’t get enough credit. It’s got some surprising health benefits too, like helping with metabolism and focus.

I second this recommendation! Dancong oolongs are such an underrated gem, the natural floral and fruity notes are just chef’s kiss. 😍
If anyone’s new to Dancong, I’d suggest starting with Mi Lan Xiang (Honey Orchid), it’s approachable and beautifully fragrant. Just make sure your water isn’t too hot, or it might get a bit astringent. Gongfu brewing really brings out the layers.
Curious, do you have a favorite varietal or vendor? I’m always looking to try new ones!
