Spring Lineup

by hop_goblin » Mar 6th, '08, 11:14

So, what are the first things you are all going to buy when the spring lineup comes out? Easy one for me - Guoyan, ChangTai, possibly Xi-zhi Hao maybe some MengHai Dayi all from the Bulang and YiWu areas and perhaps some Banzhang if the prices aren't too spendy(yeah right) *Rubs hands and licks lips with anticipation*

Shincha! Not sure which, though. Also probably some gao shan.

Shincha, shin cha, Shin cha, and shin Cha...oh, and Shin Cha. Beyond this it is a little too early to tell.

Some Spring Taiwan green oolongs.

These will likely be my 2 primary focus areas.
blah blah blah SENCHA blah blah blah!!!

Not to be like everyone else, but...shincha. Though I'm not going to get that into it anymore. A little bit from one or two vendors.

Aside from sencha and Japanese tea in general, my interest has been growing in aged oolong, so the new harvest shouldn't matter that much.

Shincha.

Fo sho!

I have my eyes on a few selections.. In fact, I pretty much have it mapped out frankly.

I have been drinking slightly-above-average tea for as long as I can remember, and loose leaf for I suppose a year and a half now. That said, this is the first time I am paying enough attention to get on the shincha train. Color me curious, I''ll take a big pile of it :)

I'll be jumpin' on the shincha train too. That and some high mountain Taiwanese green oolong. If I have any random money hanging around just begging to be spent, I intend to try some matcha.
