Most of you do not know this, I am have almost always been involved in sales of one kind or another, including for my own business in a former life.
So, the "salesman Chip" has been begun contacting his favorite vendors. I was going to inform the ITD of this in due time, which was going to be very soon anyway considering new harvest teas are quickly approaching. But the newbie Trent is sort of forcing my hand a little under TeaCritic.
Anyway, I have begun working with several vendors to obtain free samples for core members of TeaChat who are most active posters or bloggers who could also possibly provide reviews on TC or their blogs...aka...members of ITD. Part of this was due to the many bloggers in ITD.
To be honest, I do not anticipate being able to obtain the quantities that would be required to feed all the posters of the Blog thread under TeaCritic and that was never my goal. To be honest, I did not have a fully developed goal since I did not know how receptive vendors would be to my solicitation.
I have identified myself as a Moderator of TeaChat as a "credential." So far, O-Cha and Rishi have fully committed to the program. I expect others to follow suit. I still need to contact our host adagio as well...
So, basically, I just wanted to let you know something is afoot...and I will be looking for feedback on how to handle some things related to this. More on that later though.
