Hi!
I am looking for steamed dried Chinese green teas! Specially those treated similar to the Japanese steaming style. Anyone knows where in China they steam instead of panfrying the teas? Names? Types? Regions?

There is a steamed green called En Shi Yu Lu from Hubei province. However, this tea is not known much outside Hubei province and hard to get from the market.
I have yet tasted this tea either.

Just look for Chinese-grown sencha. You might try searching the term "chinencha" on this forum to find some sources. (Chinencha is a word a user here coined to refer to these Chinese senchas...it is NOT industry standard and really doesn't appear anywhere else in the tea world but here.)

The Japanese do it so much better, why look to China for sencha. I don't look to Japan for oolong, though there is supposedly at least one available.
