I must admit I have never de-scaled a tea kettle in my life. Is that only for glass kettles? Does putting a stainless steel kettle through the dishwasher accomplish the same thing? Should I rush home and put vinegar in my kettle right now? Will the tea police revoke my brewing privileges?
I have Adagio's White Peach in my cup right now. Earlier today I enjoyed a peppermint tisane.
You would likely know if you need to descale. Seriously!!!
I had the Pu from last night sitting in my gaiwan...smelled good, brewed it again...Pu never quits. It was really quite good still. I needed my gaiwan for oolong and had to discard the Pu leaves with some hesitation and reservation...hate throwing away flavor.
Wu Ling Taiwan oolong...always very good...but not quite great.

While there are many things I find irritating, I wouldn't say there is anything I really dislike. My tea is uneven sometimes because I don't check the water temperature with a thermometer, nor do I use a scale (too cheap for both), but that is part of the fun for me I guess.
Today was two mugs of Casablanca Twist in the morning (one at home, a second steep for the travel mug). I just finished a brew of Genmaicha to get me through the afternoon.

The verdict is still out on the Yunnan Gold from earlier today. It has an unusual taste that I find familar but can't quite place but it was a really nice black tea. I'm looking forward to another cup later on tonight. Sorry, CynTEAa. Looks like it's staying with me afterall.
The timer's not a problem for me as long as I remember to set the timer on the stove. Thankfully it has an obnoxious feature of beeping until physically turned off which helps keep me from getting distracted by other things.

See, that's the thing I was expecting. After all the chat around here regarding this tea, I kinda knew to expect that. Heck, it even mentions it in the description. But I didn't taste that. I'll have to drink some more to see if I can figure it out.

Well it's peppery but a sweet peppery. Not your usual pepper.
I really enjoy this one, just having recently promoted it to my top 3 blacks.

Burning my fingers for sure!
When I'm holding my gaiwan up to my zoji, filling it, and some of that water hits my fingers.... my natural reaction is to drop it! NOES! I've learned to hang on!

Most likely it is here, go to:

Tea Timer
Open the folder and right click on the timer and choose send to desktop
If you can't find it there - try: Start Menu - Search - TEA TIMER
