This is one of those questions that I would probably answer differently every day. At the moment I think I'd like to have tea with Samuel Johnson, "whose kettle has scarcely time to cool, who with tea amuses the evening, with tea solaces the midnights, and, with tea, welcomes the morning."

I am very touched by your kind and thoughtful responses to my post about my Mom - thank you for that.
There's something inspiring in the fact that even after my mother is gone, she's continued to have a positive influence on my life. In fact, it's probable that if she hadn't pointed me towards an interest in Japan, I wouldn't be taking part in TeaChat right now.
Drinking... last year's sencha in preparation for this year's shincha!

Your tea story is really special, Chamekke. It is great how you turned your loss into such a persuit, a positive.
I too am drinking my sencha to prepare for the quickly arriving Shincha. My second sencha today is the Sencha Gyo blend I have been tirelessly rushing through everyday lately.

After thinking about this topic for most of the day, I finally decided on my answer. Out of anyone, I would actually like to share tea with my non-tea drinking boyfriend. He doesn't like hot beverages all too much and has a terrible sweet tooth, so it would really be nice to get him to sit down with me to enjoy a simple cup of tea, especially if he liked the taste of it.
My teas today so far have been Kyoto Cherry Rose Sencha, Vanilla Rooibos, Chocolate tea with peppermint, and Bolero Blend. I will probably have either the rest of the Vanilla Rooibos or some Foxtrot later tonight.

I thought about this topic a long time too - there are many people real and not, historical figures and people I love who passed on. In the end I decided I want to have a cup of tea with my dad, who is alive and in reasonably good health, but lives too far away, on the other side of the pond. Having a cup of tea with him (usually preceded by a couple glasses of wine) is pleasure that is all too infrequent.
Todays teas were Assam Boisahabi, Oolong #8, and now Gyokuro.

It was hard to pass on the option of Captain Picard because I've been a Trekker longer than most of you have been alive. 
And I would really enjoy tea with a number of TeaChatters. But above all, I'd have to choose tea with a long-lost friend.

I, too, have been thinking on this all day...
I love sharing tea w/hubby in the evenings. There's also a new TeaFriend with whom I'd enjoy sharing a cup.
But honestly, I'd love to sit down & have tea w/my dad who passed away 20 yrs ago when I was a teenager. He was an avid coffee drinker but I could've persuaded him to try some tea.
It's been a long day. Off to make a cuppa hot cinnamon spice.
