Well, that's just ...

The TeaBagBin is simply a Western version of a chakoboshi, actually. The chakoboshi is used for pouring out tea that's gone cold (or is undrinkable because it's bitter), for rinsing out teacups with hot water, for dumping tea leaves... any kind of tea waste actually.

The lid (which is pierced, just like the TeaBagBin's) is removable...

If I may say so, I do think the Japanese approach is a bit more stylish
