Tea-related schwag that is NOT teawares

by chamekke » May 29th, '08, 00:59

I know for a fact that some of us (ahem) have teacup-shaped earrings and other tea-related tchotchkes.

We need a thread to share the goofier side of tea mania!*

So here's my first contribution. It's an Japanese noren (partition curtain) of indigo cotton, bought on eBay a couple of years ago from I-can't-remember-whom. It's hanging in the doorway of my kitchen:

Check out the sho-chiku-bai design on the teapot, and... what's that over to the left? Yes, it's a yunomi!
________
*Er... goofier than usual, that is. Which isn't saying much.

Nice noren.
I guess I would had bought it too, but so far no "tea-related schwag that is NOT teaware" for me.

Good idea! It should be a good thread once it gets going!

The only thing I have is a set of notecards that have girly cups & saucers on them.

Here are a couple of "Tea" shirts that I wear quite often. I was browsing around Cafe Press and found them.

That is also my tye-dye yin yang sheet in the background... so groovy. 8)

Too bad that wasn't a front/back photo instead of two different shirts, or I would so buy one in a heart beat!

I like green tea, but the second shirt was so... complex :) I would really feel well, walking around in it.

I have a mini tea pot that is meant for decoration only. It's blue with metal. I think it's Marrocan.
The noise comes from the other side of the mirror
