And I know what you mean regarding no tea. The iced Ginger Orange Peach White tea just didn't cut it tonight. Needed some hot tea but it didn't happen. :(

This year, I bought Namring, Phuguri, Puttabong and Risheehat, all in good quality (and highest grades SFTGFOP1 or FTGFOP1).
I have no favorite estate because in every estate you find different qualities.

For this year the main qualities of these teas:
Puttabong: astringency and vegetal
Phugury: floral, complex taste
Risheehat: floral-fruity (but less intense than Phugury)
Namring: fresh, long taste.

it looks like 100+ posts is becoming a norm around here. And I didn't even have to post in the wrong day this time!

Chip, have you talked to Adagio about renting a bigger room. I'm worried all these people won't fit any more.

And... I tried Genmaicha for the first time today ... specifically a freebie of Genmaicha Matcha in a nice little session with a tea-receptive client. So much more fun with someone else! And that made it a 4 tea day, an unusual event in my life.

I'd definitely say the tea. Sure, there were potential brewing vessels before tea was first consumed, but they were never actually "teawares" until tea became a beverage!

I had a few steeps of organic sencha from Den's earlier.

Don't feel inadequate! I own one Kyusu (cheapy from Den's), one ceramic 40oz pot (home), a few glass pieces from adagio (that I hardly use) and coffee mugs, and I enjoy my tea as much as everyone else. :)

I wish it counted! But no, I need natural light to photograph because of my camera, and my 10 hour work day tends to relieve me of most of that. But yay!! the weekend is near!
