Assam Tea from Whittards of Chelsea

[teachat]

I am looking for a local (US) source of Assam tea blend that they sell at Whittards of Chelsea in London. Anyone know a source?

John-

You can get it by mail-order from CT. Try going to:
http://www.thebritishshop.com

and look for Whittard of London.

Hello,

The White Linen Tea Co in Louisville, KY carries Whittard line of tea, and we have assam. call 502.458.1618, we can ship!

John,

Here's another online source for the tea you are looking for: http://www.whittard.com.

I honestly don't know why you would want to buy that tea. It is over priced and low in quality compared to loose leaf Assams you can get from other sources.

Hi, I like REALLY strong, REALLY malty assams, so I usually lean toward the CTCs. Harney's was not bad, but I'm looking for the malty assam that makes me say "WOW", this is it. Do you have anything like that?

Thanks.

John--

Thanks for the post.

The new Assam that Adagio is getting (in about 1 month) is so malty you may have to drink with a spoon.

So definitely check back soon!

The malt the merrier,

Thanks for the post.

That is actually the homepage for the UK division of Whittard, not the email address.

Here is the homepage for US customers:

http://www.whittard.com

The US email address is infoUSA@whittard.com

Just to clarify,
