TriniTea Reservoir Question

by earlgreyfan » Dec 12th, '05, 21:33

I have enjoyed my TriniTea since I bought it back in November, and have used it almost daily since then. But I have one question: should I be wiping out the heating reservoir after every pot I make, or is the metal part of the reservoir made of stainless steel so I don't have to worry about it possibly rusting in spots as time goes on?

Thanks.

James

I have not noticed any rusting in mine, although I believe the scant documentation accompanying the TriniTEA recommended occasionally running a pot of white vinegar through which will help remove hardwater scale as well as odors that may have accumulated.

Because vinegar is magical.
