Oh, I got it in the Box Pass. The first one.

Seriously though, it is Wen Mountain Baoshong from Tao of Tea. Very nice!
I liked that one, too! Wish I had kept more of it but looking forward to the next round of Baozhong. So many good teas, so little time...
Crashing w/a combo of Oolong #40 & orange oolong. Been an interesting tea day... black tea w/bfast, white tea w/lunch, light oolong afternoon & dark oolong evening. It amazes me that so many variations can come from one little plant.

Wow, that is another amazing coincidence surrounding this Pass Box, in addition to Chip and me both comparing the pass box to a ship on its maiden voyage!
Chip, are you sure you're not looking over my shoulder?
As for the tea, my notes are less than enthusiastic for the one time I brewed it.
- Seems rather characterless -- maybe I am doing something
wrong. The leaves show very little evidence of oxidation, contrary
to the vendor's description.
Maybe he put the wrong tea in my box, maybe I didn't brew it long enough, maybe it's karma, maybe I was paying more attention to making my photo than to experiencing the tea. Anyway, there's a lot left, so I will play around with it.

He is a she. Try 3 mins just off boil, 8g for 16 oz pot.

Ack my eyes!! Sorry I was blinded and forgot my gong fu for a moment.
And yes I know FLT doesn't care for my brewing technique.
Care to offer yours to Salsero? He really should experience the beauty of
this premium oolong.

A she huh! Well, I don't think that would change the brewing parameters anyway.
That's pretty much what I did: 5.0 grams in 9 oz Bodum glass, off boil, 3 m, 4 m, 6 m. Maybe it was an off day for me, and like I say, I was paying more attention to other things.
Tenuki, do your rolling eyes me "gong fu it, stupid"? Or are you having a seizure?

Well, I decided to try a white again today. I had some White Blueberry with bfast, and again with lunch over ice. It was better than the first time I tried it...
Henley, that is a beautiful cup!

My next oolong purchase will most likely be Chinese. I am planning on ordering a few Wuyis from TeaCuppa this weekend. In terms of actual consumption and not which ones will be ordered next, I'll probably make some Oolong #8 for breakfast as usual, which is Taiwanese.
Today, I enjoyed some Oolong #8 at work and the last of the iced Ginger Peach with dinner. I decided to experiment, so the current iced tea that is cooling in the fridge is a mix of Assam Harmony and Mango black tea. It smelled delicious so I hope it tastes just as good. To end my day, I have a mug of Vanilla Rooibos.

I can't possibly choose one. Too hard.
Wenshan BZ for me too. I'm on some weird current with TeaChat folks of late. I haven't been able to read until late and then I realize I've been drinking the same thing as half the posters.
But as long as I'm drinking tea like this I won't complain. Yummy...

I am trying to decide what tea to have right now. Maybe I will try to trick my baozhong into giving me more than one infusion.
