Good green for iced?
In your opinion, what is the best green tea for iced? And how do you brew it? This past week, I've just been putting leaves into a glass jar, filling with water and leaving in the fridge overnight. Then in the morning straining out the leaves. Any better suggestions? How about sun tea? I'm guessing that is done the same way as I described, but putting out in the sun.

Iced Sencha = yum!
I use a fairly cheap sencha, Uji no Tysuyu Gold Label (one of the most popular brands of tea in Japan, so I am told). I use 8.5g of leaf with about 9 or 10 ice cubes in my pot and leave it to brew on the kitchen counter for about 7-8 hours or 10-12 hours in the fridge (depending on the outside temperature). I then serve over ice and give the tea a good stir once it is in the glass.
