Geez...I don't know if this is appropriate, but for the last week every time I walk into my living room, this get's me laughing to myself, so I just have to share it with someone.
My ex-wife has an old coffee-table she's very fond of. I guess because it's old, the finish is very sensitive to temperature. Set anything hot on it and it leaves a mark.
Without thinking about it, after coming home from bike-riding, I sat down on the table for a minute...leaving a
perfect impression of my ass.
Something for her to remember me by?

And here I thought you were going to say it was the result of an intense tea session...I would have been disappointed that it was not, but I love to bike ride...so it is all good...in fact, I just came back from a ride.
Yeah, that is likely not going win you any points with the ex.

Chip, I've recently started bike riding, and so far I love it. Last week I found some well-maintained trails through town that I've been taking advantage of on my days off.

My mountain bike is lying in the shed with flat tires, unloved and in need of a full overhaul. Thankfully my dad just replaced his touring bike and I've inherited a much loved 20 yr old tourer. Road cycling is now a dream, it makes my old bike feel like pedaling a tractor along the street.

Roadie...through and through...speed!!!
Riding along, all the stress of the day fades as wind blows in my face...moving along efficiently and speedily under my own power. The world fades away...well, until a red neck in a pick up truck believes I have no right to be on the road and attempts vehicular homicide. I wear a helmet each and every time out...period.
I live 3 miles from over 30 miles of off road government owned trails, supposed to be pretty good there. One day I will discover mountain biking is fun as well.
