I agree, tea boat. It's gorgeous! Or leave it on your doorstep tonight, I'll send someone around to deal with the problem...

I vote get a stand for it. And then gaze into the depths of the bluey blueness and ponder. Ponder what to do with it.

Actually, staring into the bluey blueness is awfully conducive to some of these meditative practices I've been doing lately...

I suspect it will find some service as a teaboat/decoration. It's too pretty to live in a cabinet and it is the perfect scale for my kyusu. I know it's not traditional to use a boat with them, but I'm not a particularly traditional teaist.

And it looks freaking amazing with my kikumaru. :)

Made me think of the Aurora Borealis! which my spell checker wants in caps...

Oh so beautiful, Mary! I would get cake - immediately. Any kind will do.

Take a pic of it with your kikumaru, please!

You could break up your herb on it?

All jokes aside, that is a pretty sharp piece.

Hey, just cuz she moved to Oregon doesn't mean she's a burnout already, Ed ;)

Don't bet on it. Oh wait, that's southern Oregon. Almost a different state, really.

I was in Portland for almost two weeks and just came back -- it's like a different country :)

I spent a weekend with a friend at the Heathman Hotel in Portland.

Also caught a show by comedian Dmitri Martin out there. Funniest 3 hours I have ever witnessed in my life ;)

Not a bad town...

I liked Eugene too, plenty going for it- good food, university town, cheap rents! But the rain was a bit much....

LoL seems like every thread comes back to Oregon and/or Canada lately... what's going on here ;)

I just went to Portland last weekend. Can anyone say "grunge"? It is a cool town, don't get me wrong, just don't expect folks dressed as fine as EO up there.

yeah, definitely a jeans and tshirt town. Dressing up means that your entire outfit came from the same sportswear company.

Oh hey! look at that! I'm dressed up tonight... all Columbia Sportswear!
