Silver care?
I posted in the above sticky and was recommended that I actually use Grandma's silver teapot. However, it's tarnished and my ma will be coming for a visit and I know she'll clean it up for lazy me.
After that, is there something to be done to keep it clean or to get all the tarnishing chemicals off the pot before brewing something nice?

Try an Aluminum pan or foil lined container large enough for pot, place some baking soda A&H 2tbsp, pour boiling water into container and place your silver ware in the bath. Saw this long time ago on public t.v, the item comes out like new. No polishing or chemical cleaner residue left, that can leach into you HIGH MOUNTAIN OOLONGS OR SHENG PU ERHS

Here are some more specifics on Orguz's recommendation:

You can literally watch the tarnish disappear within 2-3 seconds. Smells like an outhouse, but clean as a whistle and soooooo much less work than scrubbing.
I'm glad that it got the job done, no hassle and effort free tarnish removal. I scrubbed brass lamps, candle holders, and brass incense burners it's a big pain in the ......
Now time for the Shengs and floral Oolongs in the silverware please.
Sorry I finished the cakes already.
