Measuring guides for the ingenuiTEA

Maybe I'm the lazy one here (& perhaps the only one who can't tell how much a cup is by eyes only?), but I think adding small measuring marks for the ingenuiTEA would be very helpful and easy. Just a small mark for 1 cup up to 3 cups. Should be inconspicuous enough not to mess up the clear/elegant design of the ingenuiTEA. I've personally drew in the marks on the side right next to the handle so you barely notice them there, but this way I don't have to use the measuring cup at all.

I received this pot and some tea samples today and when I looked at the ingenuiTea I thought the same thing. If it holds more than one cup, and it does, why not have some small markings to indicate where those 8oz marks are? I found a little work-around that works fine for me though. There was a small, clear warning sticker on the pot, so I poured in 8oz of water, removed the sticker, and replaced it on a line where the water level was. Since I have the 16oz pot, I only need this one marker.

I don't know if the larger one has this or not, but my two cup sized one does not. But the two cup one works well for me, I just add 2 tsp of tea and pour in the hot water from my electric kettle.

I just got the 16 oz. pot on Friday, it's now Tuesday and I must have brewed 15 cups already. I'm the only one that drinks tea in the house (so sad I know... trying to get the husband into it) and a little 8 oz mark would be very helpful. Maybe they could design a nifty graphic instead of just a boring line that would jazz it up.

i have a 16 oz cup and 8 oz is just not enough

I guess I have a big cup, filling the pot to just below the name is good for most of my mugs. You could always fill your cup with water and then put it in the pot to boil it. You'll always have the right amount except for the bit that stays absorbed in the leaves. The larger, 32 oz., one does have cup markings although they are not in a convenient spot to see them while filling or draing it. The marks are opposite the handle, so holding it in your left or right hand doesn't work. It would be better if it had 2 sets at 90 deg. to the handle.

I go just below the name printed on it but some marking would be great on this product as well as maybe a loose tea measuring spoon or soemthign to know how much tea to use same with any of the pots we need a loose leaf measuring spoon.....

I fill mine around the bottom of the name (not the lettering), which comes out to about 12oz. I use a 1/2 tsp measuring spoon to put 1.5 tsp of tea in it. I got the measuring spoon inside a measuring cup with a bunch of other measuring spoons from target for $1.

hmmm I've been using a teaspoon of tea for it.....Still tastes great.. I'll have to chekckout target next time I'm out that way
