I got a small sample of sheng from a teashop. They would not start to have it in stock but I bought it out of curiosity. It's absolutely delicius, but I would like to know what it is...
Help is very appreciated!

Thanx, yes it does indeed seem like you are right! Do you (or anyone else) have any experience with this pu or with Chun Ming?

Chun Ming has the unmistakable elephant's butt logo.

My local shop (Serenity in Portland) carries some mini-beengs (100g) from Chun Ming for $5 (one sheng and one shu). They're both pretty mediocre.. but worth it for the Elephant's butt!

I hope the choice of logo doesn't say to much about the tea
Thanx Dizzwave, I guess those mini beengs is not the best this factory offers, but maybe it's no big loss that the shop will not have this sheng in their sortiment.

I have this beeng and I do like it. It isnt exceptional but better than average IMO. It lacks a little complexity but has nice typical young sheng pu flavors.

THANX! Something typical, better than average is exactly what I want from my first sheng.

It's good to know that that company makes some good stuff!
I didn't mean to say that it was bad, just the ones that I've had were fairly middle-of-the-road... but nice little surprises for a find from a local shop. And cute little mini-cakes.
