Honestly, it's been a few years, so I can't recall precisely what I ordered. What I meant to suggest by middle-grade what that I wasn't impressed with the tea either way. I drank it, and promptly forgot it.

For me, what really stood out about the order was the jasmine buds. They were plainly very old, and probably shouldn't have been sold.

I definitely agree that green display teas are not for drinking. But I've had blooming display teas made with Bai Hao Yin Zhen -- a white tea that never really gets bitter -- and found the display and the cup to be a pleasant change of pace.

This is not and ebay store but I have purchased several good quality green teas from them: tealaden dot com - the best I have had is the White Monkey Paw and the Lung Ching Dragonwell
