*Looks at UncleIroh*

Is it just me, or has anyone else been inspired by the tea-drinking kook that it Uncle Iroh on Avatar: The Last Avatar? I wish my life could be just like his...with my own teashop to boot!

 So, TeaChat definitely does not promote, "TeaFocus, help to narrow your TeaMenu so you were able to focus on fewer teas?" So, where did I pick that up then?

A nice white tea session this evening. It is hard to understand why whites are not more popular.

I hope it is "slimming tea" since I am eating pizza.
blah blah blah SENCHA blah blah blah!!!

You need to come over to the wulong side for that, or don't you watch Oprah?

My last tea of the day was a green tuo cha from Rishi,
Surprisingly good.

From my understanding Pu'Er seems to be the "slimming tea" of choice for my Asian female friends. I drank tons of pu'er during the spring and whether it was due to some other factor I shed pounds like crazy. I think it has something to do with the pu'er "attacking" fat or something like that

Maitre Tea-- isn't he a role model for us all? my girlfriend discovered that show (she's more into animation than i am), and our watching of it paralleled the growth of my interest in tea, so it sort of became a little joke between us. :D

How cool! What kind of pu'er do they drink and where do they get it? Is is loose or in cakes or bricks? Cooked or raw? Do they drink it with meals or by itself? The thought of a bunch of ladies sitting around downing pu is more than I can imagine. :o

I think that any kind of pu'er would work, but they drink it during the meal and after meals as well...so basically drinking pu'er nonstop through the whole day. I remember that a friend of mine went through a cake of pu'er every two weeks. They usually made it and kept it chilled in the fridge. I think the slimming properties of pu'er comes along with the aging process that gives the tea "special powers"

This is why I love this place. The excitement people have about tea is pretty ridiculous, but that's what makes it wonderful. I seem sort of out of place in real life when I get that excited and the other people around me are not quite up to that level. However here everyone is pretty much crazy about tea.
