coffee, coffee and more coffee today, although I started out with a STRONG chaiwallah.

I've had a headache for 3 days I'm trying to nuke (with the coffee/caffeine) before I fly out tomorrow morning for VEGAS.

Hugs and Happy Tea Day to all.

My teaware tastes have definitely changed, but the change has been gradual and not total. I still use my large glass pot and my IngenuiTea or Teavana version of same... pretty much every day. I still drink out of my Tigger coffee mug fairly often. In my early days of TeaChat, I had some digital photography fantasies where I would shoot a picture of my Tigger cup filled to the brim with sweet cranberry black tea, with my dog and a box of Cheez-Its as background accents... tea parody. 8)

But as it turns out, the joke is on me... I have 2 gaiwans on the way from Ebay, plus some rice pattern cups (damn Victoria)... and I have 2 yixing and 2 tokoname kyusu and a few asian teacups and some somayaki cups and I don't know what else. And I am lusting after some nice chawan and hagi and everything else... sigh.

I had a long day... worked most of the night, had a nap this morning, and then had the pleasure of having a thyroid fine needle biopsy by my endocrinologist. I had no idea a few needle jabs in the thyroid could make my neck hurt this much... had trouble swallowing for a while but it seems to be improving... just can't cough or yawn without pain. Won't know results til Tuesday... appeciate any positive anti-cancer vibes you guys can generate.

Some warm Darjeeling in my cup... and soon, some soup.

Sarah

Lol this better be one hell of an announcement.
This announcement may end the world economic crisis. Bring about world peace. Expect the DOW to surge today!

Typical bachelor, washing pinks with whites, though I am not asking whose pinks those are!

Space, your photo is adorable but it brings back a horrible pre-teen memory. I put clothes into the dryer without checking inside first and one of our cats was in there. Our dryer was in the basement so nobody knew until it was too late. I'm sure that as an adult you are much more aware of your kitty's whereabouts.

I voted 'I don't know' if TeaChat had made a difference in my teaware preferences. My budget hasn't really allowed me to buy lots of tea accessories and I'd rather spend what money I have on tea. I did get a Zoji, though, and it is awesome!

Today had Assam Melody in the morning and nothing later, there was no time.

Hope you feel much better very soon. A little rest would help ... tell those mamas to hang on just a little longer!

And that teaware will do wonders for you! Course you realize we are expecting pix ... of the teaware, not the mamas.

LOL, I thought you meant a pic of my stabbed neck! Two little holes, looks like a vampire tried to have me for lunch. Yes, I have been reading too much of the Twilight series.

OK, yes, pics of the new teaware will be forthcoming... waiting for it to arrive soon I hope!

And thanks for the well-wishes... I will feel better soon... tea helps, but whining does not. Trust me, I've tested it thoroughly.
