I'm all for trying some Alishan. I don't believe I have ever tried it before. Looking forward to it

No tea for me today other than bottled lipton, if you can call that tea. Anyone know of a good tea shop near Madison Square Garden in NYC? I am going to the cat show tomorrow and was hoping I might be able to find a tea shop to drag my boyfriend to

Well, up town a bit, but really not far at all is Ito En. A very worthy must see in NYC. They will brew up free samples, and you can purchase 1 ounce bags in the store. Their TeaFridge rox!

Delilah sat on my butcher block table where I often drink tea and watched me finish the day with my first ever cup of Mugicha (barley tea). Thanx Sarah!
I actually quite liked it. I can see doing a lot of different things with barley and other Japanese tea. I think it would compliment them very well.

You should be able to find something there in Koreatown.
Otherwise I've heard good things about Cha-An.
