Hola
My name's Zac
I'm an undergrad college student from NY, currently spending a good portion of my student loans on tea.
I've lurked the forums and posted here and there, but never formally introduced myself.
So, there it be.
I got into tea this summer at a gluten-free bakery I worked at, and have very quickly gotten into chinese tea/gongfu because of teachat. A big thanks to everyone here for introducing me to the meditative deliciousness of tea, and thanks for your knowledge.
Right now I'm starting to enter the world of pu erh, with an '05 7542 from puerhshop (I like it a LOT) and I still really enjoy adagios TKY on a very regular basis. I'm taking it slow since I'm a broke college kid, but I'm starting to explore other vendors as well, and drinking wegmans tea as a cheap (although not as good for sure, their tgy, wuyi, and dragonwell all taste a bit like coffee/dirt and have no smell) everyday alternative to the really nice stuff.
So that's me, and the avatar is Nosferatu, played by Klaus Kinski in the Werner Herzog remake. I love Herzog's movies, you should probably check them out too. Please don't be frightened by him during your late-night tea chats.
Nice to meet you all
