Just an FYI my avatar is Commander Keen, an old 8 bit video game for the computer. It was a kid with a football helmet and a ray gun Vs. Slimes and Aliens.
Being a network engineer I am naturally a computer/gaming geek. So if I make odd references its either that or my long history of dice and paper role playing games (the PG kind of RP game.....

)
I am probably an oddball rolling into a tea factory here but we will see who converts who!

I recognized it actually.

I know you're not the only geek lurking here.

I recognized it too. You can get many of the games free online.

Lot's of folks, even us gray haired (or no hair!) types geek out, too. I built my first computer in 1981, a Japanese/Taiwanese Apple II+ clone, from a bare motherboard, bag of chips, and a schematic. I remember going game parlors on Okinawa where the PacMan games (and others) were built beneath the surface of the tables...eat, drink, play games!!
I now spend my days supporting Hospice and Home Health software.

Commander Keen was one of the first games that I would actually sit down with for hours (despite all the games I had played for several years prior). Of course that could have had to do with the fact that I was visiting family and it was about the only thing I had to do at the time

Updated my geeky avatar to be more fitting for my name.
Speaking on that Vulture is my gaming name that my friends gave me. In a lot of games I have the bad habit of sitting and looking unimposing then coming out to win against everyone at the end. I use 'Vulture' for everything now as my online name.

Like the new one better. The old one made me think I was talking to a little kid or something (no offense).

I enjoyed the Commander Keen one, but I do think I like the Grim Fandango one better.
I'm not so sure about Ocha-Ken here though... too plush.

I don't think those people in Green Country will complain.
