San Francisco in November...

by TIM » Oct 27th, '08, 17:59

I will be visiting San Franc on the 16th till 18th. Any suggestions for a good tea room or a tea geeks waterhole?

How much time do you have and what's your tea preference?

Famous ones for the area:
Samovar Tea Lounge
Imperial Tea Court
Red Blossom Tea Company
Most importantly the Japanese tea room in the Japanese Tea garden in Golden Gate Park.

If you cross over the bay into Berkeley there's the ever popular Teance.

Those are the most famous ones, but if you want there's plenty more. There's even a book about them all.

You might also want to stop by my favorite spot, Lupicia. There's one in Stonestown and one in the SF city center.

That should be plenty to keep you busy though.
