Geekgirl, I love your photo. For some reason, it makes me think that the teapot is a very cheeky little thing.

Still no tea in my cup  But again I will go w/ AliShan and it is brewing thanx to my best friend!

Didn't get far w/the reading, oh well another day. Feeling a wee bit less pain, and don't worry Smari, I'm not overdosing!

Hi Geek! What a beaut 8) ! That shot is sooo mesmerizing.

Treazure, hello and so glad you rescued that kitty! I recently rescued Sencha, a green eyed beauty and have my older resident Mordor! Sure looks like alot of TeaChatters have cats.

Chip, You have a Gandalf too! Wow, you are a LOTR fan! Don't even tell me you have a Gimli or a Precious :) Maybe Frodo?

Have a FAB TeaEvening everyone. Have another Dr. appt tomorrow, have lots of pain in my lower back, so he wants to check that out. UGH, hopefully it is just residual effects of the fall.

I am in lots of pain, kinda all over today
However gratifying may be this confirmation of my conviction that it is better not to have fallen off a ladder than to have fallen off a ladder, it is sad to learn your pain has hit today. :(

It seems so often in trauma that you don't really feel it for the first day or two. Keep us up to date, and don't leave off the tea! Strong wishes that you feel better very quickly.

I agree with previous comments about bitterness. I think that the interplay of astringency and sweetness in tea is what elevates it to such a sublime pleasure. It is the same with wine. Bitterness is mostly with the brewer; like when I made my first bowl of matcha using boiling water. Yum! Reminded me of taking a bite out of a dandelion stem when I was a kid. Once I had lowered the temparature it tasted sweet and astringent but not bitter at all.

Ending the day with blueberry rooibos to go with the awesome raspberry sorbet that I found in the college store. This is the first time all semester that they have had any dairy-free "ice cream." Even better, it is Haagen-Dazs and it didn't have a price on it so I got it for cheaper than normal. Yay!

I adore sweet tea. But I'm definitely excited to start broadening my taste buds!

Peppermint tea for me today! <3
