I stayed at a hotel last night and found out (tonight unfortunately) that Shaw's supermarket sells Adagio Teas and tea maker and cup. Who knew ? I never looked before. I wanted tea last night but had no good way to brew any - and tried basically dipping a tea bag in cool water until the water showed a pale tint - and found it quite pleasant. I only wanted to change the taste of the water - I'm back home again - and would like to start the day over.

I'm going to make a cup of Irish Breakfast because I feel like staying up.
I'll sweeten with honey and add milk which may let me sleep. My son is driving to
Carver tonight and I just like to be awake. No worries!

I've got more teas than tea pots - less cups that I use than teas - more teas that I don't use now than I did (what was the question?)

Edited once for forgetting the poll and the second time for dyslectic insensitivity -
I love my cat too - and know how hard it is to lose a dear furry friend. Best Wishes.

I voted tea, though tins are pretty close. Mostly because I have a lot of 1 - 2 oz tins to use to share samples with and I'm running low on tea. *pout* But it is a new budget month so there is a tea order in my near future. Of course, our goal this month is also to buy a 52" TV so I can't go too crazy with my tea purchasing. I wanna watch hockey and the puck be the size of my head! Okay, maybe not that big. My hand, maybe.

I've had some organic clouds and mist today and some (sadly) old sencha. I forgot I had it. It's nori taste has migrated a bit towards boiled asparagus which is weird but not entirely unpleasant.

Hubby is recovering well from surgery today - I'm back to being the pathetic one around the house. What can I say, I get grumpy when I can't breathe. Time for more tea!

Many more tins than teas, cups, or pots only b/c I can't seem to throw away a perfectly good tin. There are lots of empty Adagio tins (& not just the sample size) in the cabinet, which come in handy for when I make a new blend or order tea from other sites. When I've ordered adagio refills, it's usually been worth the extra .50 to get it in a new tin. But I'm rethinking that I might have all the tins I need for a while  !

Chip and Chad - Sorry to read about your dear furbabies. The hurt of losing them can be very deep, but I hope memories from their lives will lighten your hearts.

Two teas for me today: SnowBud with rosebuds, lavender, & peppermint - on ice. Then a Yogi herbal tea I picked up at Vitamin Cottage yesterday: Peach Detox. With a few drops of stevia it tastes pretty good hot, but not so much once it gets cold.

Yame Gyokuro from O-Cha earlier, then some Lui An pu-erh from Proinsias.

I will have some home roast Mugicha in a bit.

Another very good TeaDay!
