what do you think of this jinshu pot? Anyone have this?

I have been looking at this one for some time and was wondering what your opinion was? Does anyone have this tea pot or know this artist?


BTW - this place sucks....because of this forum I got into this expensive teaware....boy was I happy 1 year ago...now mainly I am jealous and I want to get some decent teaware under me belt.... :)

For a kyusu, I think it would be hard to pour one handed.

It is different, just not for me. For 170 USD, there are many others I would prefer.

I think it looks nice and is very striking. I also think it would be awkward to pour from. Which makes me sad.

Clarification, hard to pour one handed because I don't think my thumb would reach far enough to hold the lid down as I pour.

I think to pour one handed with that you would basically hold the handle just by two fingers and keep your hand over the top of the pot. You would essentially be pouring toward yourself.

Seems less ergonometric and a little awkward, not well planned or designed for easy or effective use, just sayin'.
