Aren't tables that spin called "Lazy Susans"? What a job! I bet he worked on 3 hrs of sleep a day!

Which is why he looks so old and I look sooooo young for one who is several hundred years young.

What an interesting photograph! Thanks for posting it, silverneedles! I had fun looking at the enlarged version, the canisters, the odd deep spoon, the even odder glass ampule-things filled with leaves.
