Tea Incense

by Trioxin » Nov 10th, '08, 03:21

Thanks to Victoria, I've been getting into Japanese incense as of late. I'd really like to find a nice tea incense though. So far I've only tried "Green Tea" from Nippon Kodos Morning Star line and wasn't too terribly impressed. Any one have a recommendation? Or, anything I should make sure to stay away from?

I've been looking too. I put in a search on ebay and looked by price.
Like fragrance, the best stuff is usually higher priced. I find this very true with incense.

I have been looking at this one - I just wish there was a site with reviews.

I am hoping you mean incense while not drinking tea :?

I prefer Baieido's Green Tea incense over the one made by Nippon Kodo. One vendor said to me (before I tried samples of both): "[Baieido's], in my opinion, really does smell like green tea. Nippon Kodo makes a green tea incense but it's sweet smelling with a 'hint' of tea."

This is the one I've been thinking about ordering. Maybe I'll give it a chance
