That's nice to know! I use firefox at home on mac and ie at work on pc, don't feel a great difference, but always hear there are many potential advantages with firefox :D

Tea ware stays in my room, so all I bring to classes or work are travel mugs and the occasional teabag.

Sal: your photo today makes an excellent desktop background.

Currently in my cup is fresh ginger root and peppermint with some honey in hopes of making me feel less sick.

Thanks for the tips ginko! I have Firfox on my home computer, but am just lazy to open it. I'm just too brainwashed through habit I guess. I'll give it a try.

Glad you like the set. It's hard to strike a good balance at work - there really isn't the same atmosphere as at home, and of course one worries about accidents & etc. so it's a fine line to walk between getting the best cup of tea and being practical.

The infuser I use is quite good - I brew with it much as I would a gaiwan - and make a fresh pot between classes in the mornings (I teach in a kindergarten). I quiz my students on what tea I'm drinking each day, and they love guessing what's in my cup.

I voted "OK"... not terrible but not good in some ways. I have 2 large sized Ingenuiteas.... had one which got highjacked by my best friend at work, and she usually is brewing cherry green or jasmine, and leaves her tea to "stew". So, I was stuck trying to get the odor/flavor out so I could brew my own tea. My solution was to get another one, and that's working well for us now.

On the downside, I don't have a kettle... we have one of those industrial coffee pots with the hot water dispenser, so the water is off-boil... no thermometer there either, so I can't tell how far off the boil it is. But, I mostly brew greenish darjeelings and oolongs at work, so the temp seems to be working fine for me as I am getting decent-tasting results.

I also don't have great cups... mostly drinking out of coffee mugs, which is ok but not great. I prefer not to leave any nicer cups there, as they will either disappear or get broken, etc. So, coffee cups are fine.

The mailman brought me a motherlode today! I got Spring Darjeeling from Adagio West Coast (thanks Victoria), and Nilgiri samples from Cinnamon Kitty... plus a bonus sample of a nice sencha that I brewed as soon as I opened the package. I got 4 or 5 infusions from it so far, and it's probably not done, but I had to move on to the Spring Darjeeling! It's in my cup now, very delicious, just the kind of Darjeeling I am loving most.

Sal: 8.5oz is basically perfect for me--I just use my gaiwan when I want smaller amounts. I don't like hot-hot tea, so bigger amounts slightly less often works better for me.

In keeping with the maple leaf theme, I finally ordered a couple of these cups from Vince and Sabrina. Thanks for sharing, Geek! I totally covet them.

I, um, really love Autumn (and leaves). It was definitely cut short around here this year.

Hm, and my oolong stash is getting critically low for my liking. This will not do.

You are welcome!! There is something very covert about ordering from the West Coast Adagio and asking them to ship to the East Coast. It takes a pair of super sleuths to get the job accomplished!!

I'm glad you like it. I thought it was not quite as good as the sample tin, so I was hoping you would not be disappointed.

Enjoying a cup of Rishi's Dragonwell....I really like this tea...I havent beena big fan of dragonwells in the past but this one has a nice refreshing vegetal taste if you brew it at about 170! Ihope everyone has had a wonderful day and brewed some excellent cups of tea!

Sweet, I have seeen this one on a few sites. I too have a love on Momiji on Japanese teaware, which is well documented. I have 2 kyusu with Matsu Momiji design. I am always looking for another. :wink:

You are very welcome! I am glad you are enjoying the sencha. It resteeps incredibly well. I know that I've gotten at least 6 or 7 steeps at one point, though I generally stick with about 5.
