What's so great about Darjeeling tea?

Fully oxidized tea leaves for a robust cup.

Oh oh oh!

I can't believe I forgot to mention my recommendation!

I'd give Williamson's Darjeeling a try. I'm posting a review for them tomorrow - Bonfire night!! :D

It's All About the Brand

You're right; Darjeeling #22 is quite boring. I was never impressed with Darjeeling until I tried Golden Moon Tea's Darjeeling. This is the review I gave of the Darjeeling from Golden Moon Tea:

"Nice as a breakfast tea. It is dark and full-bodied. The taste is somewhere between an English breakfast tea and an earl grey. There's a hint of lavendar & bergamot that's more subtle than an earl grey. I don't really taste any fruit or nuts in it as the description mentions. It's definitely a tea that grows on you."

I would also agree that Darjeeling #22 is not on my liking list and the reason why is because it has no floral tones that Darjeelings are supposed to have. #22 reminds me more of an oolong than a true Darjeeling. I have been trying Darjeelings from SpecialTeas and have been enjoying them :D

I give Tea Emporium a big :!: "Two Thumbs Up" :!: in regard to their Darjeeling offerings. I got several... all were fantastic... shipping was good, packing was amazing. I would not hesitate to order from them again.
