I'm really happy with the teas that I've ordered from Harney. They were in foil bags with excess air squeezed out within the tins. The Rooibos was packed in plastic within the tin.

My surprise favorite so far - the Rooibos Chai. I brew a big mug of it every evening so it's disappearing fairly quickly. I took advantage of a pre-Thanksgiving offer of a $5 coupon plus the free shipping to buy a whole pound, plus a tin of the Jasmine Silver Dragon.

Other pluses with Harney's - they put a sample in each box. This time it was a beautiful little tin with 5 sachets of Earl Grey Imperial. Also, their customer service is a pleasure to deal with. There was a mistake in my previous order and when I called I received an apology, a joke, a tin of the correct tea, and got to keep the mistake. I ordered from another

I probably have enough tea to last a while, but these holiday offers are so tempting.

Do you know if they send an email shipping invoice or anything when it goes out? I got my order confirmation email soon after I placed my order but nothing else. The website doesn't show a tracking number under my account. Do they usually wait awhile to ship after an order- like only a couple of times a week?

Honestly I've never ordered anything from the website, and I don't work with it at all so I don't know. From what I can tell our website could use a little tweaking, but I'm sure if you called and asked someone from the factory could tell you. They're all quite nice.

Thanks for the reply. Nothing has showed up yet (emails or order) so I'll give it until Monday afternoon and try emailing them or calling.

Omega, I got a shipping number from UPS themselves. I would follow up on it Monday too, but it is probably not Harney's fault. They should be able to give you more info though.

Yeah it looks like they extended it.

BUT - Be forewarned if you are ordering for gifts, the free shipping is UPS ground and takes forever!!!

I think the free shipping over $25 is just about year round. Every email I get from them has that deal.

I finally received my order this evening about 7pm. I never did receive a tracking number and finally had to call to make sure my order went through.

I'm not quite sure what's going on (I'm not in the loop when it comes to the website) but it looks like there's STILL free shipping over $25...and 10% off as well?

I have a sneaking suspicion that it will continue through Christmas, but don't quote me on that.

I received an email that said to use the coupon code Tea10Tea through midnight tonight (Monday) for 10% off orders over $25. The free shipping, according to the email, ends tomorrow night, but for Christmas deliveries orders should be placed today.

So many sales this year....

I get more emails from Harney & Sons than from my family. I swear they are always advertising something.
