about 10cm high and 7cm wide.
Quite light and airtight.
I was a little skeptic when I ordered it because I thought that wood will retain odors and maybe change the odor of the tea but in fact, no problem.
It isn't too much expensive (60$). I have a second one currently on its way to my mailbox.
I guess I will now save some money for metal canister from kaikado or gyokusendo.

Yeah, i'll probably get one next year. I'm trying not to order anything new right now. It's my normal December freeze on buying stuff.
I was considering that one or maybe one of the craizer ones from Japan.

I don't precisely have a daily tea, and just take from different containers, so don't have much idea about op's questions.
But first because I am more attracted to oolong in recent years, secondly because I can't have much caffeine after 4pm, thirdly because my green tea dose change greatly with season (much less in winter), to maintain my green tea enjoyment, I have been trying to use smaller cups to brew green tea. And very recently I've tried to use a shot glass to brew a few teas

So I can have different teas in a few hours period. And for the small amount, I can have some tea after 5pm.
