I've actually purchased this, but hadn't had the time to try it out yet.

It's a little trickier to make than actual tea.

Since starting this thread I tried to make a Red Espresso, it didn't work well, probably because I didn't have the ground rooibos.

Anyone else try it?

Rooibos is a favorite of mine, so while I haven't tried this, I'll admit I've thought about getting an expresso machine primarily for this! Though that seems a tad extreme.

Does it differ much in taste from regular Rooibos? I would be willing to buy one for just rooibos... :shock:

A coffee shop in Cambridge, MA gave me my first experience with Roobois tea, coincidently enough it was ground through an espresso machine (and poured over white cranberry juice). It's an incredible beverage and I have actually submitted the idea to several coffee shops.

That's one of the things making me hessitate. Some people clame there's a big difference but I'm not so sure and that's quite an investment for even a little better.

You can buy a stovetop percolator (the Mokka type, it's like an espresso maker) off Amazon (Bialetti's the original Italian brand, I believe) for as little as $20.
